Founding Partner

Mimi Nguyen

Mimi Nguyen is a co-founder at Agility and has a breadth of experience in leading finance and back-office operations for both late-stage and venture-backed companies. She began her career in the Risk Assurance practices at KPMG and PriceWaterhouseCoopers before leveraging her experience in the VP, Finance and Accounting role at FOX Interactive Media and NewsCorp Digital Media. She led the finance and operations teams at Science Media, where she was an integral player in the operational and financial management of a series of startups in the eCommerce, growth technologies, and mobile sectors. At Agility, she has served as CFO for a number of ventures in the fintech, cannabis, eSports, SaaS, business services, and investment fund sectors. Her ability to partner with leadership teams to formulate and implement business strategies, financial processes, and controls has been instrumental in several large-scale organizational restructuring, merger and acquisition, and process re-engineering efforts, including the sale of Myspace to Specific Media in June 2011. She has also been integral in helping early-stage clients raise over $75M of venture capital.

Cindy Solovei

Cindy Solovei began her career working for Big Four public accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche, where she held the position of Senior Manager, Middle Market Services, in the New York, NY office prior to transitioning to private industry. She has held several executive-level accounting and finance positions leading both public and private equity-funded companies through global expansion, infrastructure building, operational and reporting oversight, M&A due diligence, and IPO preparation. Key positions were held at: Telemundo Group Inc, New York NY, Applica Inc. Miami, FL, and Discus Dental (now Philips Medical), Los Angeles, CA , and Real D, Inc.. It was at Real D that she established and built the accounting and finance structure necessary to support growth from 1,200 to 23,500 screens, 30 to 163 employees, and $23 million to $220 million in revenue, positioning the Company for a very successful IPO. Shortly after leaving Real D, Inc., Cindy formed Agility Financial Partners, LLC with her co-founding partner, Mimi Nguyen. Cindy's experience has led to her ability to specialize in helping early-stage and middle-market companies get through their high-growth and chaotic stages, working closely with management, founders, and third-party stakeholders to address the present with a practical view of the future.
